Consultation for Professionals

Unlock the power of knowledge and clarity with consultation services. Whether you’re seeking answers, insights, or solutions, consultation with a dietitian can help you along the way. Growth doesn’t happen in isolation. One to one consultation offers you a unique opportunity to refine your skills, gain invaluable insights, and enhance your professional confidence.

What is Consultation (aka Supervision)

Consultation is setting up a designated time and space to speak with a clinician who may have more experience than you related to a specific specialty. Supervision is common within most medical professions and specifically mental health spaces. Unfortunately, dietitians aren’t trained in the the benefit and need for continued support throughout our careers with the exception of getting continued education. Consultation is a space where you can bring in cases, themes, and challenges within your work and gain support and guidance, ultimately leading to more clarity and confidence.

What you get with one to one consultation?

  1. Expert Guidance: Gina brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. Benefit from her lived experience and 13 years of clinical experience as she provides personalized guidance tailored to your needs.

  2. Reflective Learning: Engage in reflective discussions that deepen your understanding of complex cases, ethical considerations, and evidence-based practices. Sessions are designed to broaden your perspective and sharpen your critical thinking as well as support you in knowing your true self.

  3. Skill Enhancement: Whether you’re a seasoned dietitian or just starting out, consultation is designed to elevate your practice. Hone your clinical skills, communication techniques, and decision-making abilities.

  4. Support: We can’t do this work alone. Consultation allows a space to work through the challenges that come working within the mental health field.

  5. Ethical Insights: Navigate the ethical challenges of your profession with confidence. Consultation can provide guidance on maintaining the highest standards of ethical values in your practice.

Benefits of consultation

Just a few of the many benefits include better client outcomes, improved confidence, decreased risk of burnout, learning more about yourself and your passions within the field, and sustainable business practices.
