Why Interoceptive Nutrition?

In the United states, at least 20 million women and 10 million men suffer from diagnosable eating disorders, and this number is on the rise. This number also completely misses millions of individuals who may not meet rigid diagnostic standards, and still struggle greatly with disordered relationships with food and body, or those who haven’t been thoroughly researched including gender non conforming folx. With our current culture's obsession with food and weight, it's easy to become confused on how to take care of your body. At Interoceptive Nutrition, eating disorder specialist Gina R. Mateer, RD, LD, CEDS-S, RYT200 is here to help those struggling in the state of Texas and worldwide due to accessibility of virtual practice.

As a non-diet dietitian, she believes that freedom from a negative relationship with food is possible.

If you or a loved one is struggling with your relationship with food, you have come to the right place.
